A 'beautiful thatched' pub in Dorset will reopen next month as lockdown restrictions are eased.

Following Government advice that pubs in England can trade outside in April, Butcombe Brewery Co has confirmed The Castle Inn in Lulworth will open on Wednesday, April 14.

Described as a 'beautiful thatched pub', the venue offers heaps of outdoor seating, with a roadside terrace and a 'magical rear beer garden' perfect for al fresco drinking and dining.

The pub, which has received a 'significant investment' by Butcombe Brewery Co, will have social distance measures in place. Tables must be booked in advance and orders and payment can be made via the Butcombe app.

Simon Mukhtar, general manager at The Castle Inn said: “We can’t wait to welcome our guests back on April 14 when we’ll finally get to show them all what we’ve done.

"We’ve invested heavily in creating a magical outside space where they can relax and enjoy being with friends and family in a safe, secure environment.”
